I chose this video because it’s a creative dance interpretation of a song that’s energetic and very expressive. This Beyoncé and Shakira Beautiful Liar is choreography is iconic, the combination between music and movement is amazing and the coordination the dancers have is incredible, the moves are complex but look smooth and well practiced, with quick turns and strong steps that show the dancers’ skills, each move connects perfectly, making the performance exciting, fun to watch, and full of energy, even if you’re watching it for just a few moments, its breathtaking, I enjoyed watching this choreography from start to finish.
Your justification shows clear enthusiasm and you focus well on key performance qualities: energy, expressiveness, coordination, smooth execution, quick turns and strong steps, which are all relevant to Body Expression. You also recognise that the choreography is “well practiced” and that movement connects to the music, which is a good link to time/rhythm and movement quality. To make it more academic (and score higher), add 2–3 concrete examples using our class elements: space (formations, distance between dancers, levels), time (tempo changes, pauses, synchronisation moments), and energy (sharp vs fluid, strong vs soft), and explain what emotion/message those choices communicate (e.g., confidence, tension, connection, seduction). Also, split the long sentence into 2–3 shorter ones to improve clarity.
